This webinar will provide essential information about current editions of common pediatric assessments and visual neglect assessments used to assess children with various occupational performance challenges. Current pediatric assessments and screening tools discussed include: the Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, 3rd Edition (PDMS-3; Folio & Fewell, 2023), the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, 3rd Edition (BOT-3; Bruininks & Bruininks 2024), the Structured Observations of Sensory Integration – Motor (SOSI-M; Blanche et al., 2021), and the Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI; Mailloux et al., 2018) Vestibular and Proprioceptive Tests, the Teddy Bear Cancellation Test (TBCT; Laurent-Vannier et al., 2006), and the Infant and Toddler Neglect Task (Kriksciun et al., 2021). Current challenges, opportunities, and strategies to support culturally safer assessment practices will be discussed.
